His most recent experience has been in mining projects, specifically the design, construction, and operational phases of tailings deposits and processing facilities. His previous experience also includes forensic engineering, slope stability, erosion control, geotechnical characterization of complex soils, flooding hazards, and foundation design.
Diego has participated in PFS/FS studies, construction specifications and estimates (PS&E), and bid-ready construction drawing package preparation, as well as construction quality control assurance for dry stack projects in Colombia. His well-rounded background enables him to lead a team in providing practical solutions to both complex and day-to-day issues regarding mine waste facility engineering, project planning and delivery, and construction and operations support.
