José Luis Quiroga

He has more than14 years’ experience in the area of geotechnical engineering in trade-off studies for tailing deposits, modelling of tailing deposits, volumetric and filling analysis, water balance modelling, scoping and pre-feasibility studies for tailing deposits.

He has experience in hydraulic design and modelling of drainage systems for photovoltaic plants and water management in mining facilities; hydraulic modelling and analysis of landfills, tailings deposits and reservoirs, as well as hydraulic models for creeks and sediment transport analysis.

He has more than 10 years’ experience in the geotechnical and structural engineering field, carrying out structural review of precast structural systems of reinforced concrete. Design, calculation, and report preparation of structural tests applied to different types of structural elements. Measurement and analysis of structural micro-vibration. Design and performance of loading tests for existing structures. Analysis and structural verification of existing structures, survey, review, supervision and tensioning in projects with post-tensioned slab systems. Design and supervision in low-rise buildings.
