Julien Declercq

Julien has worked on a number of projects related to Acid Rock Drainage and Metal Leaching (ARDML) evaluations from field sampling to numerical predictions. His work also includes numerical predictive models of solutes from heap leach, to waste rock dumps in North and South America, Africa, and Europe. He has a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Sciences, a Masters degree in geology from Paris VII’s University, France, and a PhD in geochemical modelling from the University of Oslo, Norway. In addition, he is a fellow of the Geological Society of London and European Association of Geochemistry. 
Julien’s area of expertise is centred on numerical geochemical modelling with respect to the mining environment but also includes field and laboratory based analytical geochemistry. As a native French speaker Julien has experience working in West Africa and other French speaking countries as well as providing managerial support with in-country staff.
