Kevin is well versed in open pit slope stability, rock mass characterization, geotechnical data acquisition, and underground rock mechanics. Kevin has particularly strong expertise in geotechnical numerical modelling applied to open pit and underground mining using continuum and discontinuum methods. He has worked on projects ranging from conceptual design studies to operational support, including studies for very large operating mines around the world with challenging rock mass and hydrogeological conditions. To compliment his rock mechanics skill set, he uses his advanced programming skills to effectively tackle complex problems involving the analysis and visualization of large datasets.
